How do I install my Roswheel bag?

Is my bike compatible with Roswheel racks?

We currently offer three rack models. You can find detailed specifications in the product descriptions. If you have any further questions, feel free to email us for assistance.

What size bike bag is suitable for my bike?

You should choose based on the type of bicycle you primarily use and the storage space you typically need. Our bike bags are designed to fit nearly all types of bicycles.

Are the straps used to secure the bike bag safe for the bicycle frame? Will they cause any wear and tear?

Absolutely safe! Even when pulled tightly, our bike bag strap system stretches naturally, applying minimal force to the frame.

Are the Bike Bags waterproof?

Yes, they are, but the zipper must be fully closed. All other bike bags are waterproof. Only the Tour Lightweight Pannier is water-resistant, so we recommend using it with the Tour Stuff Sack to keep your items dry.

Care and Maintenance

Can I put a waterproof bag in the washing machine?

Avoid the Washing Machine: Never put your dry bag in a washing machine as the agitation and harsh detergents can damage waterproof sealing. Skip the Dryer: Don't use a tumble dryer. Excessive heat might cause the materials to melt or deform, compromising the integrity of the bag.

How to care for waterproof bike bags?

Most dirt can be removed from dry bags/bikepackings by simply hosing them out. If you have more persistent stains, wash the bags by hand in a mild soap such as Wilderness Wash, rinse them thoroughly and air-dry them.

Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as the UV rays degrade fabrics and waterproof finishes.  Ensure that your bags are fully dry before storing them away, as any moisture can lead to mold growth.

Can I repair my waterproof bike bags?

All of our bike gear bags can be repaired using a product called Gear Aid® Seam Grip +WP(available at all good outdoor and hardware stores). More information by clicking the link:

What kind of warranty applies to Roswheel products?

FIVE-YEAR GUARANTEE PERIOD

The following products are covered for five years from the date of purchase:

THREE-YEAR GUARANTEE PERIOD

All other products (excluding racks) are covered for three years from the date of purchase.
